Hello and thank you for your comment. I am not sure who and what you mean exactly, maybe the previous owner of this blog. But anyway in this poem we try to express the pain and mistrust after being lied to by people we love. Because love should give you wings to fly but instead we get chained to fear and insecurity by people’s lies. And please remember that not all people are well-intentioned, unfortunately. I had some dreams about your poem which prayed on my mind, so I have to send you these few letters now:
I am going to give you some insight to my point of view now.
I am thinking of the earth instead of you when I read it.
“Gravity chains, feeling helpless in vain,
Gravity chains, still in love with the pain,
Gravity chains pulled me dead and insane.”
Some parts or humanity that are continuously destroying this planet because of profit and their own wealth instead of installing a resource based economy are trying to transhumanize and leave this planet before it is too late for them, instead of showing courage and love for this planet and their inhabitants and stop the insanity of capitalism and exploitation of nature and mankind. The gravity chains that you are talking about will be the chains of humanity, or transhumanity, not able to leave this planet behind as their habitat and inhabit the space because of many reasons I will not explain to you now in detail.
So let´s go on.

Industrialization and the progress of mankind in a unsustainable way have destroyed the ecology of our planet nearly to a point of annihilation, so that we, all we, as humanity should not love or be proud of what we have done to the planet, and so to ourselves.
“eyes wide open, hearts wide shut” just means that some of us, I like to call them bastards, so what is happening with the planet and the ecological system we live in, which we are a minor part of, but neglect it or just do not take car about.
The “horror blades of illusion and shame” are the default of the ecological circumstances and the attempt to leave a “dying” planet and inhabit space. ( the planet is not dying at all. It will carry life on for millions of years, with or without humanity).

The thorn of gray, the lies you are talking about in my opinion are the political and economical lies of our leaders, (not politicians, I am speaking about our real leaders, the unknown ones, the puppet masters…), which are creating an illusion of life since hundreds of years just to keep their power running. I do not hate or love them for that, it´s just my objective opinion.
Because of the bleeding pain of the earth and the global situation even the throats of these mighty bastards begin to stutter. Some of them want to begin WW3 to minimize population in order to save resources in this way, some of them are looking for the fastest way to leave earth behind and inhabit space, some of them are trying to invent climate lows in order rebalance the ecosystem as good as possible, and so on… These are the “shouting whispers” of humanity.
They are doing this because of the “choking pleads”. Because time of revelation is coming closer and closer and every action is becoming more and more unpredictable. E.g. World war would be a solution to reduce the population but is also a immense waste of resources and a unpredictable playground of gatherings. -> “Fears alive, poison truth”
Your poem ends with:
“Slither on. Your filth, no home.”
If we continue like we did for hundreds of years we are going to slither on to extinction. We are going to make our home, the earth to a cradle of filth, uninhabitable for many years. If we do not stop competition and start cooperating this will possibly happen.
One is for sure, and be aware of that. WE WILL EATHER SURVIVE AND LIVE ALL TOGETHER OR PERISH ALL TOGETHER.
I´m not into permaculture for fun! I´m doing it because it is a, further on it is THE, solution to mankind´s disaster of lets say, to the earthbound, self-inflicted problems of humanity.
The principle I love most about it is: “Take responsibility for the earth, for your children, and yourself, and do it NOW!!!”
